Drew Endy
Drew Endy

Drew Endy, PhD, recently joined the faculty of Bioengineering at Stanford University having previously helped to build the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT.  He serves as President of the BioBricks Foundation and has co-founded three companies (two of which haven't yet failed).  He also helped start the Registry of Standard Biological Parts and iGEM, a worldwide genetic engineering "Olympics" for undergraduates.  Esquire magazine named Drew one of the 75 most influential people of the 21st century.
