Charles F. Stevens
Charles F. Stevens earned his BA, MD, and PhD from Harvard University, Yale University, and Rockefeller University, respectively. Work in the Stevens laboratory uses various theoretical approaches to discover design principles that govern the development, structure, and function of neural circuits. This research is very closely tied to data and, because neural circuits exhibit a scalable architecture, frequently involves comparing brain regions of different sizes (from various closely related species) that adhere to scaling relations.
